Hooks watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-5 loss to Elite on Sunday.  Elite scored on a single by Chris Duckworth in the first inning, a double by AJ Rios in the first inning, a single by Trent Burgess in the second inning, and a double by Deiondre Malcom in the second inning.

Hooks lost despite out-hitting Elite 16 to 11.

In the first inning, Elite got their offense started.  Duckworth drove in one when Duckworth singled.

Hooks stole the lead late and defeated Elite 8-4 on Sunday.  The game was tied at three with Hooks batting in the top of the fifth when Andrew Lightfoot singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

Hooks earned the victory despite allowing Elite to score three runs in the first inning.  Elite's big inning was driven by singles by Chris Duckworth and AJ Rios.

Rios took the loss for Elite. The bulldog went five and a third innings, allowing eight runs on eight hits and striking out four.

Hooks fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 14-2 loss to Elite on Saturday. Elite scored on a single by Chris Duckworth in the first inning, a single by Bryan Fedrick in the second inning, and a single by Trent Burgess in the second inning.

Hooks's effort to come back from down five runs in the third inning came up just short, as they fell 8-7 to Bulldogs on Sunday.  Hooks scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Daniel Zamora in the third, a single by Tanner Allred in the third, a double by Marco Navarro in the third, a single by Navarro in the fifth, and a passed ball during Zamora's at bat in the sixth.
